About Us

We are a community of undergraduates at Columbia University with a common interest in astronomy and astrophysics. We hold regular meetings to plan events and talk about current research/events in astronomy, and we also host events to help connect undergrads with research opportunities and professors. Some of our events include lunches with professors, outings to local amateur astronomy club events, guest lectures, stargazing trips (including our annual camping trip to Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park), and more!

General Body Meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month from 9:30 - 10:30pm in 1332 Pupin Hall. We get together to discuss astro and listen to a presentation from one of our undergrads about their research or a current event. If you are interested in presenting at one of our meetings, please fill out this form!
